GeothermEx is known for its top-quality analyses related to the riskiest part of any geothermal project: finding, developing, and operating the subsurface resource in a way that optimizes the delivery of heat and/or power. This legacy position and deep knowledge of geothermal technologies lead to actionable advice that reduces the risks associated with harnessing this abundant natural resource. Master's degree or higher in geology, geochemistry, geophysics, or similar field Direct experience in the geothermal industry Technical writing, with the ability to organize and clearly express observations, ideas, opinions, and conclusions Experience working in a team environment and collaborating closely with colleagues Experience in drilling operations (as well-site geologist, mudlogger, or similar), and/or experience in well-logging, testing, and field management Previous consulting experience preferred Participate in intermittent field assignments, such as: Prepare, or critically review, GeothermEx prepared reports, with a focus on geology, geochemistry, geophysics, integrated data assessment, and conceptual modeling Coordinate project work and collaborate with team members across the globe Manage and maintain geothermal data sets Prepare proposals and assist in marketing efforts
