Department Overview Oregon Health & Science University and Tuality Healthcare's affiliation combines Tuality’s deep community roots with OHSU’s role as a provider of complex and advanced specialty care. Function/Duties of Position The primary function of the Geriatric Psychiatrist is to provide direct clinical care in the inpatient setting to geriatric patients on an as needed basis. Moonlight with us and provide comprehensive inpatient mental health treatment in a positive and supportive environment. This position is located at a newly redesigned Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic at Tuality Hospital in Hillsboro, Oregon an acute psychiatric facility serving patients age 60 and older. As an OHSU employee, you will find additional opportunities to teach and mentor residents and fellows, participate in regular Grand Rounds presentations (1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit), explore opportunities to serve with the Unity Center for Behavioral Health and collaborate with a host of engaged faculty, staff and educators. Required Qualifications MD/DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in both Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry Preferred Qualifications Strong preference for those having completed Fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry Additional Details ***Apply here online.
