As a German Content Moderator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe, respectful, and positive online environment for German-speaking users by carefully reviewing user-generated content. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all content aligns with the platform’s community guidelines and company policies, thereby upholding the integrity and quality of the platform. Key Responsibilities Review, moderate, and evaluate content on social media platforms in German to ensure adherence to community standards. Classify and make accurate moderation decisions based on established guidelines. Identify and escalate inappropriate or harmful content to relevant teams promptly. Provide feedback and insights on content trends and user behavior to enhance moderation strategies. Collaborate with the moderation team to improve processes and maintain high-quality standards. Stay updated on company policies and industry best practices related to content moderation. Exceptional fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential. A minimum of B2 in English proficiency is mandatory. Previous experience in content moderation, especially for social media platforms, is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and ability to apply moderation guidelines consistently. Strong communication skills to effectively convey moderation decisions and collaborate with teams. Ability to handle sensitive content with discretion and professionalism. Familiarity with social media platforms and moderation tools is a plus. Willingness to live and work in Greece and adapt to a new cultural environment.
