Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring German Language Teachers to provide in-person customized lessons to 2 children in Hamburg. Class Information: Reference: 180750 / 180751 Face-to-face German for two children, aged 8 and 10 (taking individual lessons, back-to-back) Location: Lessons are to be held at the students' home in Hamburg (close to Esther Bejarano Schule, 22761) Availability: Monday, Wednesday, or Friday after 4 pm Lesson frequency: Twice per week Lesson length: 60 minutes per child Preferred start date: ASAP Current target language level: Advanced Native language: English Students' language needs and goals: Support their different homework in German (to teach them how to do them in German, if not, then teach them the language part related to different subjects), fill gaps in language, Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of German teaching experience Must have experience working with children All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
