We are currently hiring German Language Teachers to provide face-to-face customized lessons to our clients in Schweiz, Switzerland. C188933 Job Information - Individual face-to-face German lessons for an adult Availability: Monday evening (4:00pm - 8:00pm) • Tuesday evening (4:00pm - 8:00pm) • Wednesday evening (4:00pm - 8:00pm) • Thursday evening (4:00pm - 8:00pm) • Friday morning (8:00am – 12:00pm) • Preferred start date: ASAP • Lesson Frequency: 2x a week • Lesson Duration: 1.5 hours per session • Student’s location/time zone: Near Heiniwiedstrasse, 8806 Bach OR Bachtobelstrasse, 4, 8810 Horgen ZH • Current target language level: Beginner • Native and other spoken languages: English, French -fluent, Chinese -beginner • Student’s language needs and goals: To learn rules/grammar to know how to construct sentences correctly first * Achieve Intermediate level proficiency * Engage in day-to-day conversations with correct pronunciation * Read books and texts related to my interests to accelerate learning and comprehension * History and geography of the country where we are living * Reading - with a preference for non-fiction versus fiction * Classical music * Performing arts • Grammar • Building vocabulary • Listening comprehension tips and strategies • Reading and writing • Pronunciation and local accents • Common phrases native speakers use every day • Conversations with native speakers • Ordering at restaurants • How to learn a language faster Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners towards learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the German language To have a degree or certification in teaching, linguistics, or similar field To have a minimum of two years of teaching German language experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
