Mercier Consultancy MD is looking for a German Speaking Digital Trust and Safety Specialist to join our vibrant team in Sofia, Bulgaria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure online environment for our users. You will be monitoring content, addressing safety concerns, and enforcing community guidelines to foster a culture of trust in our digital platforms. Key Responsibilities Continuously monitor user-generated content and interactions to detect and respond to potential violations of safety standards. Conduct thorough investigations into reported incidents, using analytical skills to assess evidence and determine the best course of action. Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement policies that enhance digital safety and security. Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents and trends to inform management and enhance decision-making. Stay updated on the latest trends and challenges in digital safety to proactively improve protocols and practices. Engage with users to educate them about safety measures and promote responsible online behavior. Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential. Prior experience in digital safety, content moderation, or relevant fields is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Excellent communication skills for efficient interaction with users and team members. Detail-oriented approach with a proactive mindset to identify potential risks. Familiarity with online safety tools, social media platforms, and content management systems is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
