Description
As a premier outsourcing partner for payroll and HR services with over three decades of market presence, we specialize in delivering precision-driven accounting for a diverse national clientele. In collaboration with our software-focused sister company, we bridge the gap between traditional tax expertise and modern digital workflows. Our Leipzig office embodies a culture of flat hierarchies, where a flexible, hybrid mindset meets a supportive, community-oriented team. Your Mission In this role, you will take full ownership of the payroll cycle for your dedicated client base, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step. Payroll Management: Independently process monthly salary runs for approximately 800–1,000 employees across various industries. Regulatory Liaison: Manage all communication and mandatory filings with social security carriers and tax authorities. Consultative Support: Serve as the subject matter expert for clients on complex questions regarding German labor, tax, and social insurance law. Data Integrity: Oversee the lifecycle of employee master data and perform systematic quality controls within the payroll system. Audit Readiness: Lead year-end closing procedures and provide expert support during external audits, such as German Pension Insurance reviews. Process Evolution: Contribute to the integration of new clients and assist in the continuous optimization of our internal digital processes. Your Qualifications Professional Background: You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship (or equivalent) and bring a minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in German payroll accounting. Legal Expertise: You possess a rock-solid foundation in current German wage tax and social security regulations. Language Skills: You operate with native or near-native fluency in German (C1). Software Proficiency: You are digitally savvy; while experience with SBS Lohn is a major advantage, a general ease with payroll software and MS Office is required. Soft Skills: You are a highly organized individual with a strong service-oriented heart and the ability to thrive in an evolving, dynamic environment. Rewards & Benefits Compensation Package: Annual base salary between €40k and €45k, supplemented by holiday and Christmas bonuses. Tax-Free Perks: A net-benefit card (€50/month initially, increasing to €100 post-probation) and performance-linked bonuses of up to €300 net monthly. Modern Work-Life Balance: Flexible working hours and the option for 2 days of mobile work per week (following a thorough on-site induction). Health & Culture: Enjoy in-house yoga, fresh office snacks, and regular team-building events and off-sites. Growth: Access to continuous professional development through internal and external training programs. Infrastructure: A bright, modern workspace equipped with high-end IT for both office and home use.
