GESTIONNAIRE, AVANTAGES SOCIAUX ET INVALIDITÉ

En tant que Gestionnaire, Avantages sociaux et Invalidité, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans le soutien des secteurs Canada et Nucléaire-Canada d’AtkinsRéalis et relèverez de la Directrice, Rémunération Globale. Ce poste supervise et administre les programmes d’avantages sociaux, de reconnaissance, d’invalidité et d’indemnisation des travailleurs, incluant, sans s’y limiter, l’assurance médicale et dentaire, l’assurance vie, l’invalidité de courte et longue durée, la CNESST, la WSIB et les mesures d’accommodation au travail. Vous collaborerez avec les assureurs, les conseillers et les fournisseurs externes de gestion des absences pour assurer des avantages compétitifs et conformes, ainsi qu’une exécution rapide des services selon les normes de l’entreprise. Ce rôle contribue au développement de meilleures pratiques et de stratégies de prévention afin de mieux gérer et réduire les coûts liés aux absences en milieu de travail. L’équipe comprend deux analystes en avantages sociaux et une coordonnatrice des absences et de l’invalidité.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in group insurance, disability and workers compensation program management.
  • Experience with relevant HR systems (e.g., Workday) is an asset.
  • Experience leading a team of two or more people.
  • Experience working in human resources is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE WITHIN THE TEAM

As a member of the Total Rewards – Corporate Canada team, you will report to the Director, Total Reward and be responsible for:

RESPONSIBILITIES - BENEFITS:

  • Participate and lead projects related to the company’s employee benefits in Canada for active employees, retirees, and expatriates.
  • Manage programs and vendor relationships for the company’s benefits program, expatriate benefits, and executive annual health assessment program.
  • Act as country lead for the employee assistance program (EAP) and employee recognition program by tracking usage and developing communication strategies to increase usage.
  • Oversee the annual renewal of our Canadian group insurance plans, as well as participate in contract and rate renewal negotiations.
  • Prepare recommendations and cost estimates related to employee benefits for budget purposes, union negotiations, and Board of Directors presentations.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to manage and ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day activities and employee experience.
  • Develop and maintain group insurance policies and procedures.
  • Provide communication and support to HR teams and business units on employee benefits programs.
