Taiga est à la recherche d’un(e) gestionnaire de la production axé(e) sur l’excellence opérationnelle, pour superviser et optimiser notre processus de fabrication alors que nous augmentons nos volumes et renforçons notre excellence manufacturière. Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de la gestion de la production, en assurant une qualité élevée, le respect des délais et la sécurité de nos opérations. DESCRIPTION

Taiga is seeking a strategic and operations-driven Production Manager to oversee and optimize our production team and processes as we scale up production and strive for operational excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for managing production, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and safety across our operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong experience in manufacturing and excels in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in production management or supervision in a manufacturing environment.
  • Postsecondary degree or certification in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Priority to Oracle NetSuite.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing complex production operations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production plans, schedules and strategies to meet production targets and customer demands.
  • Coordinate with various departments, such as engineering, supply chain, and maintenance, to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Monitor production activities, resolve issues and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery of products.
  • Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient production flow and optimal utilization.
  • Assess staffing requirements, recruit and train production personnel, and manage their performance to maximize productivity and efficiency; empower and grow employees to their best selves.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure an adequate supply of raw material and components for uninterrupted production.
  • Establish and enforce quality control standards, processes and procedures to ensure the production of high quality components.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to production, such as production output, efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Analyze production data, identify trends, and prepare regular reports on performance, highlighting areas of concern and proposing improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with management to develop production budgets, forecasts, and plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, guidelines, and best practices within the production facility.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and measures to minimize accidents, injuries, and environmental impacts.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness and ensure all employees are trained and equipped to work safely.
