Job environment Job title of the line manager: Logistics Team Leader Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To contribute to the management of goods flows through effective warehouse organization and management in accordance with the cost, quality, safety and lead times set, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction. Scope of Activities To carry out some or all of the following activities: Organize the warehouse to ensure that goods and documents are easily traceable and are stored in compliance with safety instructions, storage precautions, hazardous goods regulations, expiration dates, etc. Monitor inventory status and inspect products received (depending on the site concerned) Check that documents match up with goods Conduct IQAM (Identification, Quantity, Aspect & Marking) checks Trigger the purchase requests required for effective warehouse management Monitor, update and enter data into the information system Optimize warehouse management Check and enter purchase requests into the SAP system, and forward them to the appropriate manager for validation Justify your choices to your line manager, and report on materials consumption issues Keep working areas clean and tidy, and take care of the equipment provided for your use Operate machinery requiring a permit (forklift truck, trailer tugs, etc.). Ensure that goods entrusted to us by our customers are handled with care Verify that all necessary documents and information are completed and submitted on time Inform the designated process persons immediately of any issues and non-conformities The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.
