Le.la gestionnaire de portefeuille aux risques complexes occupe un rôle crucial en soutenant un.e ou plusieurs directeur.rice.s de comptes. En collaboration étroite avec un.e adjoint.e technique et/ou un.e assistant.e gestionnaire de portefeuille, le.la gestionnaire de portefeuille assure le service à la clientèle quotidien et facilite les renouvellements ainsi que les nouvelles affaires. Il.elle bénéficie également de l’appui d’une équipe marketing chevronnée pour la mise en marché des dossiers d’assurance.

Ses tâches principales, sans s’y limiter, sont les suivantes :

  • Offrir un service prompt et professionnel pour les besoins quotidiens de la clientèle;
  • Maintenir une documentation rigoureuse pour chaque dossier, en respectant les normes de HUB et de l’Autorité des marchés financiers;
  • Gérer les activités dans les dossiers de la clientèle;
  • Participer à la préparation de la stratégie de placement;
  • Préparer et transmettre les demandes aux assureurs;
  • Préparer des devis aux assureurs, des propositions à la clientèle, des notes de couverture et des sommaires d’assurance;
  • Effectuer les suivis nécessaires auprès des assureurs et de la clientèle;
  • Vérifier l’exactitude des polices d’assurance et des avenants, et effectuer le suivi des corrections requises;
  • Rédiger les instructions pour les certificats d’assurance et s’assurer de leur conformité;
  • Rédiger les instructions de facturation;
  • Veiller à ce que la facturation soit adéquate;
  • Collaborer au suivi rigoureux des comptes à recevoir;
  • Corriger les différences de comptes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Manager, Complex Risks, plays a key role in supporting one or more Account Executives. Working closely with a Technical Assistant and/or Assistant Account Manager, the Account Manager ensures day-to-day client service and facilitates renewals and new business. They also benefit from the support of an experienced marketing team for the placement of insurance cases.

Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide prompt and professional service for clients’ daily needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation for each file, in accordance with HUB and the Financial Markets Authority (AMF) standards
  • Manage activities related to client files
  • Assist in the preparation of placement strategies
  • Prepare and submit requests to insurers
  • Prepare quotes for insurers, proposals for clients, cover notes, and insurance summaries
  • Conduct necessary follow-ups with insurers and clients
  • Verify the accuracy of insurance policies and endorsements, and follow up on required corrections
  • Draft instructions for insurance certificates and ensure their compliance
  • Draft billing instructions
  • Ensure accurate billing
  • Collaborate on rigorous follow-up of accounts receivable
  • Resolve account discrepancies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Technical skills

  • College diploma (DEC)
  • Valid AMF license – Commercial Damage Insurance
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in English is essential for communication and transactions with our international clients
