Description
SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT:
Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with partner suppliers.
Research, select, and recommend the most competitive suppliers, and regularly assess their performance using key performance indicators.
Prepare, negotiate, and implement commercial agreements with partner suppliers.
Oversee the management and development of business relationships with local and Asian suppliers.
Participate in contract negotiations, agreements, and pricing.
Work closely and support the R&D department for developing components.
Participate in identifying new sourcing options according to required standards.
Cost Optimization and Performance: Regularly use RFQs (Requests for Quotes) and RFPs (Requests for Proposals), perform quantitative and qualitative comparisons of proposals, and make recommendations to optimize total acquisition cost and allocate orders. Create dashboards and performance measurement systems.

IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES, YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR!You hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations and Production Management, or Logistics. You also have a CPIM or CSCP, APICS certification. You have at least 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment (industrial production). You have experience in a seasonal products company (a plus) and experience purchasing from Asia, as well as purchasing resin and aluminum (a plus).You are bilingual, with advanced proficiency in both spoken and written communication and have a good understanding of ERP/MRP systems. You are proficient in MS Office Suite and Excel. You have a strong knowledge of the Asian market and experience purchasing resin, aluminum, and other component products.You possess excellent problem-solving skills, as well as a strong sense of organization, planning, and coordination in a multitasking environment. You have strong analytical abilities and a good sense of initiative. You excel at managing priorities and working under pressure. You are also able to influence people and negotiate effectively. You are results-oriented, proactive, autonomous, creative, and curious. Finally, you have the ability to work in a team, collaborating with others and contributing to the achievement of common objectives.
