We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations, ensure compliance with provincial and federal labor laws, and drive the success of our people and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven HR managerial experience with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNESST regulations and employment laws across Canada.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and managing HR processes across multiple locations.
  • Fluency in English and French is an asset.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an HR Manager, you will:

  • Oversee HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR functions, ensuring seamless execution of policies, procedures, and employee programs across multiple divisions in Canada.
  • Provide Employee Support: Respond promptly and effectively to employee inquiries, addressing concerns and providing guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Work closely with CNESST and other provincial and federal agencies to ensure compliance with all employment standards and regulations.
  • Talent Management: Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, and talent development initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the development and implementation of training programs tailored to the needs of the organization and its employees.
  • Performance Management: Assist managers with performance reviews, employee coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture by handling employee relations with fairness, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports to support decision-making and compliance.
  • Support Cross-Divisional Needs: Collaborate with managers and leaders across all divisions to align HR strategies with business objectives and ensure consistency in HR practices.
  • Report to the Head of Human Resources: Regularly communicate updates, provide strategic input, and ensure alignment with the overall HR vision set by the organization.

DAILY TASKS:

  • Respond to employee inquiries about policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR-related topics.
  • Handle CNESST claims, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and follow-up.
  • Conduct compliance checks and audits to meet labor standards and workplace safety regulations.
  • Assist managers with staffing needs, employee concerns, and HR process guidance.
  • Update HRIS systems with accurate and up-to-date employee information.
  • Communicate changes to HR policies or benefits to employees across divisions.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports or documentation for government agencies as required.
