Sales Manager – Leisure/Travel Agencies

The Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is looking for a Travel Agencies Sales Manager who shares our passion for excellence and seeks to create a memorable experience for our employees and guests. We are looking for a person who has a strong work ethic, a high level of integrity, a concern for quality, a cultural sensitivity and a sense of customer service.
Core R esponsibilities
- Develop and expand the Leisure/Travel Agencies portfolio to drive bookings, exceed budget targets, and enhance hotel performance.
- Promote and sell to assigned core programs such as Preferred Partner, Internova , Virtuoso, Chase, and American Express, ensuring high performance and partner satisfaction.
- Develop new and existing accounts by analyzing business and buying tendencies in emerging markets to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain an organized and professional plan for correspondence and follow-up with key clients and travel agencies.
- Generate hotel awareness through direct phone sales, direct sales calls, trade shows, and networking in both retail and wholesale segments.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to solicit , sell, and confirm business to meet or exceed budgeted sales goals.
- Independently solicit travel and create business development plans, identifying new leads and converting opportunities into sales.
- Exhibit excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills, effectively presenting the hotel’s offerings to travel agencies and clients.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to foster long-term relationships and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes with travel agencies.
- Conduct property tours and provide detailed information about all hotel/resort services.
- Entertain clients on property during site inspections, pre-planning trips, and program operations as appropriate .
- Collaborate closely with Reservations and Operations departments to plan detailed itineraries and ensure travel agent preferences are met.
- Utilize strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple accounts and consistently meet sales goals.
- Ensure consistent follow-up and communication with clients and travel agencies to nurture relationships and drive bookings.
- Monitor industry trends and market shifts in emerging markets, adjusting sales strategies as necessary to stay competitive.
- Stay up-to-date on the hotel’s amenities, services, and offerings and effectively communicate updates to travel agents.
- Support cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, reservations, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Build a strong network within the leisure travel industry to generate leads and increase hotel visibility and bookings.

- 3 to 4-year experience in a similar position;
- College diploma in hotel management, administration or related field.
