Job Description Project – the aim you’ll have We are looking for a Business Data Analyst with strong SQL skills to support data exploration, reporting and advanced analysis. The role involves identifying patterns in data, generating insights and supporting decision-making through reports and dashboards Work with business datasets (experience with criminal data is a nice-to-have, but not required). Collaborate closely with the Product Team to define and deliver analytical needs. Provide on-demand data extracts, validations and consistency checks. Identify and communicate opportunities for data quality improvements. Consolidate reports and dashboards and contribute to standardization initiatives. Manage report access, data refresh schedules and user support. Support the creation of effective visualizations and innovative dashboards using relevant tools. Actively participate in team discussions, meetings and briefings to gather requirements for current and future projects. Qualifications Must-Have: Hands-on experience with large-scale data (billions of records). Strong practical knowledge of SQL. Advanced Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, etc.). Ability to prepare and interpret charts (e.g., pie, bar, column). Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proactive, result-oriented approach with a willingness to learn. Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite. Team player with a collaborative mindset. Nice-to-Have: Experience with BI tools (preferably Power BI). Knowledge of VBA or other automation methods. Prior experience working with large, complex datasets.
