As a Line Cook at the Grove Hotel, you will play a vital role in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes to ensure every plate meets our standards for quality, presentation, and consistency in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Job Duties/Responsibilities Prepare and cook all menu items according to recipes and specifications. Set up and stock stations with appropriate tools, ingredients, and supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment throughout your shift. Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient ticket execution. Monitor ingredient levels and replenish as needed throughout service. Assist with inventory tracking, labeling, and stock rotation. Provide input for daily specials or seasonal menu items. Maintain a professional and positive attitude, especially during high-volume service. Follow all company food safety, uniform, and attendance policies. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced kitchen required. Must be proficient in basic cooking techniques and knife handling. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must be available to work early mornings and weekends. Ability to multitask and stay detail-focused in a deadline-driven environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations required. Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in hot kitchen environments and move between stations as needed.
