Description

WE’RE GHD.

We don’t do hair. But we do straighten out some of the world’s biggest challenges.
We’re engineers, scientists, designers, architects, planners, advisors, innovators and change makers, committed to making energy, water and communities sustainable for generations to come.
Since 1928, we’ve been wholly owned by our employees. Today, we are 11,000 diverse and skilled individuals working in over 160 offices across five continents — Asia, Australia, Europe, North and South America, and the Pacific region.

WHO COULD YOU BE AT GHD?

Within the Urban Design & Mobility Solutions team, our Landscape Architects play a key role in shaping how major projects across transport, water and community interact with the landscape. The team specialises in delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) and Landscape Character Assessment (LCA) project work, which includes conducting visual assessments and field work, and coordinating digital outputs (GIS mapping and photomontages). Based in Victoria, the team supports projects across Australia, contributing to planning approvals and sustainable design outcomes.
This team of specialists are looking for a Graduate Landscape Architect to join them as part of our 2026 Graduate Program.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • has recently graduated (or is a current student expecting to graduate by the end of 2025) with qualifications in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Planning or similar
  • enjoys a mix of office-based work and field work
  • has an interest in working in consulting and the engineering sector
  • has good verbal and written communication skills.
  • is enthusiastic and willing to learn across a wide range of projects.

This position is available in our Melbourne office, starting in February 2026.
Our two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to give you a smooth start to your consulting career. Alongside your peers, managers and mentors, we’ll help you detangle any challenges along the way.
