Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, coordinates the implementation of research protocols approved for activation by the Mercy Medical Center IRB. Manages and conducts all aspects of multiple clinical research projects and pharmaceutical trials, both investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored. Participates in the development of budgets and ad-hoc reports; performs financial management activities related to collecting revenue from study sponsors. Ensures compliance with federal, state, institutional and sponsor guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a high School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or other relevant degree required.
  • Master’s Degree preferred but PA certification or Medical Degree may be substituted
  • At least 2 years of clinical research experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) preferred.
  • Experience with clinical/patient interactions.
  • Must possess skills in computerized scheduling and documentation databases, and other basic office support software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology at a level normally acquired through completion of approved training programs.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, visitors, employers, and hospital personnel in exchanging and relaying information and in providing client care.
  • Ability to work in a demanding and challenging environment and maintain composure and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of duties.
  • Must have good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Supports the team effort through a willingness to work beyond normal working hours.
  • Able to work independently with frequent interruptions.
  • Follows written and oral instructions.
  • Must have excellent telephone demeanor and ability to prioritize work load for the most efficient performance personal skills.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic.

Min: USD $24.47/Hr. Max: USD $40.38/Hr. Benefits:
