Description

Working with Locksley Distilling customers, both at the distillery, and UK wide, to run events for Locksley Distilling. This role covers setting up and running tours, tastings, and our popular gin school, as well as attending gin events, markets, and food and drink shows as required. You’ll be a brand ambassador as well as getting involved with organising and running lots of different events.
The ideal candidate will be creative, and energetic, able to organise, and run events, and encourage customer engagement with the brand. Adaptable, proactive, and able to work with a team. This role will enable you to refine your sales, brand management, and marketing skills.
Working with our founders, you’ll be trained to be a Locksley Distilling gin and spirits expert!
Hours of work will mainly involve evenings and weekends, with additional hours in production during the week if desired. Working hours can be discussed and agreed prior to induction, however flexibility is key.

Key Tasks of the Role

  • Running distillery events on a weekly basis… gin tastings, tours, and gin school
  • Becoming a fount of knowledge on gin, and spirits
  • Assisting and selling at pop-up events, gin/food and drink festivals, and trade shows, locally, and nationally
  • Providing samples to customers, and educating them about the brand - knowledge of alcohol sales laws, and regulations, including operating a Challenge 25 policy
  • Supporting marketing activity with content creation from events
  • Being a true ambassador to the brand
  • There is also the potential to pick up more hours in the shorter term by becoming involved in the production of LD and contract products – bottling, labelling, processing orders for delivery or shipping, general and production related cleaning and sanitising
