Our client, a large SA Government-owned Utility company, is seeking to engage a GIS Analyst to assist in analysing and manipulating critical asset data.

Responsibilities

ROLE DETAILS:

This role will contribute to the management of infrastructure asset data and information of the business by developing and implementing data management plans, designing data quality improvements, and ensure service levels are consistent with corporate, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Partake in the cleansing, manipulation and interpretation of data, interpreting critical insights from multiple sources, to ensure asset registers contain the highest quality of data, and that handover from stakeholders are efficiently and effectively completed in an accurate and timely manner.
An ideal candidate will be present with demonstrated capabilities in fostering, managing, and nourishing key internal and external stakeholder relationships with data providers and consumers to maintain robust awareness of business needs and data required to support those needs.
With hands on experience in data analytics, this role will attract a candidate who enjoys problem-solving, strong analytics, root-cause analysis, and infrastructure asset data. With outstanding attention for detail, this candidate will be confident in their conviction and possess the ability to engage and guide various stakeholders to drive future capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Digitisation of asset data related to infrastructure.
  • Resolution of data corrections submitted by field staff.
  • Resolution of targeted data uplift activities relating to GIS asset data registers.
