WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

To excel in this role, you’ll need strong skills in GIS tools like QGIS and FME, as well as proficiency in running SQL queries and performing spatial analysis. If you have proven GIS analysis experience and can manage and update GIS data layers, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll also have:

  • Experience with GIS tools: Proficient in QGIS, FME, and ArcGIS Desktop
  • SQL expertise: Comfortable running SQL queries and performing spatial analysis
  • GIS analysis: Proven ability to use GIS for business insights
  • Data management: Skilled in maintaining and updating GIS data layers
  • Automation: Capable of creating self-service apps and automating tasks
  • Team collaboration: Work well with internal teams like network design and field service

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Manage and update our GIS data layers and metadata, ensuring everything is accurate and up-to-date
  • Run SQL queries and perform spatial analysis to help us make informed business decisions
  • Automate tasks to streamline our processes and support other teams with their data needs
  • Ensure all design documents are current, well-organised, and stored properl
