Description
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a GIS Analyst for our Geographic Information Systems Department in Wall, NJ.  Core Responsibilities * Create, maintain, and analyze spatial datasets in support of engineering, planning, and environmental projects. * Produce high-quality cartographic products, exhibits, and mapping deliverables for proposals, reports, and public presentations. * Perform spatial analyses, including proximity, overlay, network, and terrain modeling. * Support field data collection efforts using GPS and mobile GIS applications. * Manage and organize GIS data to ensure accuracy, currency, and consistency across projects. * Collaborate with engineers, planners, and environmental scientists to integrate GIS into project workflows. * Assist in the development of automated GIS processes and tools to increase efficiency. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, or related field. * 2 to 4 years of professional GIS experience, preferably within the A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. * Experience with utility asset inventory management systems for tracking, maintaining, and managing infrastructure assets. * Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related ESRI software. * Experience with GPS data collection and mobile GIS applications. * Knowledge of spatial analysis techniques, coordinate systems, and data management best practices. * Familiarity with CAD/GIS integration is a plus. * Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
