Job Title: GIS Analyst for Broadband Company
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GIS Analyst to join our team at a leading broadband company. The GIS Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and managing geospatial data to support decision-making processes related to broadband infrastructure development and maintenance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to analyze geospatial data and create maps for infrastructure planning
• Develop and maintain GIS databases and perform spatial analysis to optimize network design and performance
• Create and update cartographic products and visualizations to communicate spatial information effectively
• Utilize GIS software and tools to assist in project management, resource allocation, and data validation
• Generate reports and presentations on GIS analysis findings for internal and external stakeholders
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in GIS technology and applications

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfo
• Proficiency in spatial analysis, data manipulation, and cartography
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in telecommunications or broadband industry is a plus
