Description

RMSI is looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager – GIS Solutions to lead business development. This role focuses on promoting and selling geospatial (GIS) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge of GIS technologies and a proven track record of solution selling in the GIS Domain.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, GIS, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong focus on GIS or geospatial technology solutions.
  • Proven success in selling GIS solutions or platforms to telecom clients or enterprises with geospatial requirements.
  • Strong understanding of GIS technologies (e.g., Esri, QGIS, FME, geospatial data services) and their applications in telecom (e.g., network planning, asset management, field mobility).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tracking systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive adoption of GIS solutions across IT companies in the Europe.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities, expanding RMSI’s presence in the telecom GIS domain.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers in the telecom, GIS, Utility & Mapping sector.
  • Work closely with technical and pre-sales teams to position RMSI’s GIS offerings in line with client needs.
  • Own the complete sales lifecycle – from prospecting, solution presentation, and RFP response to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create targeted GIS solution campaigns and sales enablement tools.
  • Represent RMSI at telecom and geospatial industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to showcase capabilities.
  • Track and report on key sales metrics, pipeline progress, and client engagement outcomes.
  • Take ownership of sales targets, including order book value, new client acquisition, and pipeline growth.
