Job Description We are seeking a Senior GIS Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will lead complex geospatial projects, develop innovative GIS solutions, and provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams. Design and implement sophisticated GIS databases and spatial analysis models BIM & GIS intergration Conduct advanced spatial analysis and data modelling to support decision-making processes Develop and maintain GIS applications and tools to streamline workflows Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into GIS solutions Manage and mentor junior GIS professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables Stay abreast of emerging GIS technologies and methodologies, recommending improvements to existing processes Provide technical expertise and support for organisation-wide GIS initiatives Prepare and present detailed reports and maps for various audiences Qualifications Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field Professional GIS certification (e.g., GISP) is highly desirable Minimum 5-7 years of experience in GIS applications and spatial analysis Advanced proficiency in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS and QGIS Strong skills in spatial analysis, data modelling, and cartography Expertise in remote sensing and image processing techniques Proficient in database management using SQL Programming experience in Python, R, or other relevant languages Demonstrated experience in project management and team leadership Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Domain expertise in urban planning, environmental management, or natural resource management is advantageous Willingness to travel within India as required for project work Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: General Engineering Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Design and Engineering Profession: Infrastructure - Road utilities
