Description

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Education industry. They are looking for a GL Accountant to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the East area – easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Finance department to ensure seamless operational support for the organization.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports and analyzing the Group’s financial performance.
  • Participate in the monthly financial re-forecasting process.
  • Assist in compiling materials, such as reports and presentations
  • Support the creation of the organization’s annual budget.
  • Keep the Risk Register updated with relevant information.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, account schedules, and reconciliation
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closings.
  • Manage cash flow, including forecasting and maintaining liquidity.
  • Oversee the capitalization, monitoring, and tagging of fixed assets.
  • Assess, recommend, and enhance internal financial controls in compliance with the institution’s policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory reporting to authorities
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, insurers, and other external agencies.
  • GST submissions
  • Provides supervisions.
  • All other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting or other relevant field of studies.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experiences
