Description
As a General Ledger Accountant you will apply your knowledge of finance, corporate accounting practices to ensure that the financial records are maintained in compliance to both local and US GAAP accounting principles. This role will also assist to drive process improvement and internal control initiatives, supporting tax department for tax package preparation and filing. Additionally, you will: Ensure financial statements are prepared timely and presented fairly in accordance with US GAAP & Statutory requirement. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entries and other items associated with the month-end and quarter-end closing process. Follow Corp. control policy to ensure daily accounting process and procedures are compliance with FTV accounting policy and other FTV ASP Internal Policies. Support Country statutory audit requirements including but not limited to financial reports, tax analysis and computation. Support Tax department for tax package preparation and filing if any. Support with internal and external auditors for the audit field work under the guidance of country finance team. Support business requests in a timely manner (Fixed assets addition/disposal, count, bid bond .etc.) Work on various Kaizen projects if any. Other ad hoc projects if any.
