QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2 + years of supervisory experience
· Lean Manufacturing experience an asset
· Post-Secondary Education in Mechanical Engineering an asset
· Experience with managing a team of 10 direct reports (minimum)
· Experienced with CNC machines or robotics preferred
· Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and fabrication combined with experience in an assembly & manufacturing environment.
· Excellent leadership, problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
· Identifies safety hazards and takes appropriate steps to control them.

· Performs administrative tasks and maintain communications associated with the activities of a production day.
· Monitor quality of output and take appropriate action
· Oversee assigned production department of 10 employees (minimum)
· Uphold all company policies and procedures
· Manage all aspects of production planning pertaining to the glass department
· Promote a culture where team work and collaboration are encouraged
· Implement Lean Waste Reduction concepts
· Progressive disciplining, performance appraisals
· Implement and ensure staff adhere to the health and safety procedures at all times.
