Responsibilities: As a Production Leader you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and glazing of our signature hams and turkeys, ensuring they meet the Honey Baked Ham quality standards. Your role will include leading and coordinating production efforts, managing staff in the production area, and ensuring that all products are prepared in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Glazing experience required for Production Leader, other team members can be trained.
  • Prior experience in the restaurant or foodservice industry is required.
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation and effective communication skills.
  • Must have a clean criminal record (background checks will be conducted).
  • Professional appearance – no visible piercings or jewelry while on shift and hair/beard coverings required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Glazing Hams and Turkeys – Applying our signature glaze to hams and turkeys, ensuring quality and consistency in flavor and appearance.
  • Preparation for Wrapping – Handling freshly glazed products and prepping them for packaging.
  • Weighing and Price Labeling – Accurately weighing products and applying the correct pricing labels before they are moved to the sales cooler.
  • Breaking Down Hams and Turkeys – Using knife skills to cut and portion products into smaller sizes for packaging and sandwich portions.
  • Maintaining a Fast-Paced Workflow – Keeping up with high order demands, particularly during peak holiday seasons, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Stocking and Managing Inventory – Ensuring that the cooler remains fully stocked with finished products, ready for sale, while maintaining proper storage conditions.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the production area.
  • Team Collaboration – Working closely with other team members to maintain a smooth production line and uphold food safety standards.
