JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our team, with a focus on curtain walls, storefronts, and window systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that meet project specifications. You will work closely with project managers and architects to translate concepts into precise designs. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are executed accurately and efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge in AutoCAD is required.
• Experience in the stick build curtail wall, store front, and window wall is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to draft accurate technical drawings.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of glazing systems and doors
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with industry standards for drafting practices is advantageous.

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or Revit.

• Prepare layouts, fabrication, and assembly drawings for construction or manufacturing purposes.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.
• Assist in the creation of presentations for client meetings or project proposals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and best practices in drafting.
