We visit local farms, harvest their surplus crops and redistribute it to food banks, community fridges, hostels and day centres across Buckinghamshire - reducing food inequalities. We also use some of the produce in our vegan cooking workshops - sharing health knowledge and food skills, with people of all ages, living in low income households.
We are looking for a Co-ordinator to support this project in the harvest season. Out of season support other growing projects we run at our local allotment, educating teens on local, seasonal food and how to reduce food waste.
