QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Master of Sc. Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in a commercial business-driven role on a regional- or global scale; within account management, purchasing, business development or similar.
  • Proficient project management skills and the ability to manage customer initiatives on a global scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand market needs, leading to the right SKF positioning, considering competitive advantages, value proposition, and making appropriate commercial decisions.
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in English and work collaboratively across multiple departments and disciplines.
  • Automotive experience is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Manage one of our global key accounts that span multiple regions or countries and across various business lines, each varying in size and complexity.
  • Be accountable for enhancing profitable growth, pricing, and cost management, and contribute to scorecard targets.
  • Craft and execute customer strategies, roadmaps, and manage relationships at all levels.
  • Take a broader strategic approach, looking beyond individual transactions to develop long-term relationships and partnerships with global clients.
  • Collaborate closely with other sales teams, manufacturing units, product development, and support functions, often working with teams in different regions or countries, including local account managers.
  • Manage, lead, and develop a small team of local Key Account Managers.
  • Facilitate and manage the negotiations for contracts and/or global programs.
  • Implement and communicate the pricing strategy across countries where the account is present.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the existing account.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on account performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams – be the customer ambassador internally.
