Our client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to lead international accounting and compliance across their global operations. This role ensures financial practices meet local regulations and tax requirements, while collaborating with legal, finance, and tax teams worldwide.

• Manage month-end and year-end financial closings across regions. Maintain accurate statutory records in an ERP system, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare and review international sales tax returns and corporate tax filings, working with internal teams and external advisors.
• Coordinate international audits with external auditors and regulatory authorities. Support internal compliance and audit requests.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Monitor regulatory requirements across all countries of operation and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Collaborate with local accounting teams to support international operations.
• Optimize reporting and monitoring processes through the use of technology.
