Description
We are looking for a Global Accounts Payable Staff Accountant to join F45’s Finance & Accounting Team at its headquarters in Austin, TX. Reporting to our Global AP Manager, the individual selected for this role will be responsible for assisting, overseeing, and managing the accounts payable function on a global scale within the organization. The Global AP Staff Accountant’s primary focus will be to ensure that financial transactions with vendors and suppliers across different regions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to changing global priorities, navigate complex international financial transactions, has strong attention to detail and accuracy, an analytical mindset for assessing and optimizing global accounts payable processes, integrity, ethical behavior, and discretion when handling sensitive financial information. Responsibilities Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors globally. Verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of invoices with company policies and international regulations Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors across multiple regions, currencies, and payment methods. Ensure payments are made within established payment terms and adhere to currency exchange rates. Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors worldwide regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and payment delays. Foster positive and professional relationships with global vendors. Multi-Currency Transactions: Manage foreign currency transactions and exchange rate fluctuations. Monitor and minimize foreign exchange risks. Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports for global entities. Ensure expenses comply with company policies and international regulations. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions for global entities to maintain accuracy. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Month-End Closing: Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing accruals and journal entries related to global accounts payable. Compliance: Stay informed about international tax regulations, withholding tax requirements, and reporting obligations. Ensure compliance with internal controls and global financial policies. Global Reporting: Generate reports on global accounts payable activities, outstanding balances, and cash flow projections. Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making at a global level. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and standardization across global accounts payable operations. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Previous experience in accounts payable or international accounting roles. Strong knowledge of international accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and familiarity with multi-currency transactions. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for global vendor interactions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment. Familiarity with ERP systems and international tax regulations is a plus.
