Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Insurance Structurer will be responsible for originating and designing/structuring bespoke market solutions for insurance clients. The role requires a deep understanding of insurance industry dynamics, regulatory frameworks, derivatives and investment products (bonds, repacks, structured credit, private debt etc) used by insurers. Experience in all of these areas is not a requirement, but the ideal candidate would have experience in at least one of these areas and be excited by the opportunity to fill any gaps in their understanding of industry dynamics. The candidate will work closely with the existing insurance structuring team, sales, trading, banking, desk strategists, legal and risk management teams to deliver innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of the insurers.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

5+ years of experience in structuring, trading, or related roles within FICC markets, preferably with a focus on insurance clients.
Strong knowledge of fixed-income instruments, derivatives, and structured products.
Experience with ALM, portfolio optimization, and hedging strategies specific to insurance companies.
Industry & Regulatory Expertise:
Deep understanding of global insurance regulations (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17, US RBC, Bermuda SCR, ICS as adopted across Asia) and insurance/reinsurance products
Experience advising on regulatory capital efficiency is highly desirable.
