Your Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW

In your role as a Global Benefits Associate Consultant at Lockton Global Benefits, your primary responsibility will be to work with multinational corporations regarding various aspects of their global benefits. This includes retirement benefits, insured employee benefits, and total rewards strategies.
As a key member of our global benefits team, you will provide administrative, technical and research support for the Global Benefits Practice and contribute to solutions that are tailored to our clients’ needs, thereby directly contributing to the growth and future direction of Lockton’s Global Benefits practice.
This role can be fully remote; or hybrid if the geography allows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or liberal arts, or equivalent experience in the insurance industry.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
  • 3-5 years’ global benefits experience preferred, including knowledge of cross-border, health, welfare and retirement benefits in primary markets, and multinational pooling.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation design.
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Fluency or professional proficiency in a foreign language helpful.
  • Degree in international studies or business is desired though not required.
  • Experience working or living abroad helpful though not require
Responsibilities
  • Maintain primary strategic relationship for an assigned book of global benefits clients on small to medium size engagements.
  • Support Consultants in providing client services for an assigned book of global benefits clients on complex engagements.
  • Client services are defined as providing administrative, technical and research support for the Global Benefits Practice and coordinating special projects as assigned.
  • Underlying responsibility will be the ongoing development of strong working relationships with clients and colleagues by responding to requests for assistance with Lockton’s high standard of “WE LIVE SERVICE!”
  • Evaluate client’s strategic business objectives in order to develop optimal benefits strategies.
  • Develop client-appropriate compliant and cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Consultant to develop comprehensive client management strategies.
  • Review and approve client presentations and recommendations.
  • Provide best practice guidance to clients.
  • Lead on smaller and one-off Global Benefits Management engagements.
  • Support Senior Consultants on larger Global Benefits Management engagements.
  • Perform research as needed for internal projects utilizing various internet resources, trade publications, and on occasion foreign-language sources.
  • Liaise with local Lockton Global offices and partners.Supervise and mentor Global Benefits Analysts.
