Job Description Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. The Role: As a Global Business Development, you will play a key role in promoting and selling our core services across international markets. You will be responsible for generating, nurturing and converting enquiries to drive growth in analytical testing, training and membership services. With a strong focus on customer experience, you will support clients in understanding the full value of our products and services and tailor solutions to meet their needs. Main duties: Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and engaging potential new customers globally Promote and sell all analytical and performance testing services, ensuring clients understand the full breadth and benefits of our offering Cross‑sell training, membership and other services, including delivering presentations where required Understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions and resolve any issues promptly and professionally Maintain ongoing communication with prospective clients to drive continued engagement and sales growth Respond to incoming web enquiries and follow up effectively to maximise conversion Identify innovative approaches to meeting customer needs and addressing market opportunities Track, manage and convert leads through the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and visibility Prepare and update all administrative records, including sales trackers, CRM entries, follow‑up actions and meeting notes Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets Identify new sectors or industries that present growth opportunities for the business Ensure all sales activity is documented accurately, including visit reports and follow‑up actions Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and conferences Provide occasional support on overdue accounts and payment follow‑up Qualifications What We Are Looking For: Degree-qualified in a chemistry or science-related discipline or proven experience in technical/testing service sales Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and convey complex information clearly and confidently A driven, positive and enthusiastic individual with experience in sales and customer service Motivated by targets, results and working in a high-energy, goal‑oriented environment Self‑motivated, resilient and proactive in identifying opportunities and solving problems Willingness and ability to travel to client sites both nationally (pool car provided) and internationally when required Additional Information Competitive Salary, OTE Bonus, Life Insurance 4 times annual salary, Private Medical Insurance, Income Protection, Group Pension Scheme (match contribution of up to 5 %) Holiday Purchase Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 confidential support.
