Responsibilities

As the Global Business Development Manager for Mining and MRO (Repair and Overhaul facilities), you initiate, develop, and drive activities to strategically position us as the market leader. Working closely with the Marketing team for Smart Bolting, you develop and execute our go-to-market strategies in target industries and accounts. You are responsible for driving the implementation of new technology into the mining and MRO market.

Some key activities:

  • Conduct market mapping and analysis
  • Ensure a clear value proposition for our target industries and accounts
  • Actively drive our key account strategy
  • Support and guide local Customer Centers’ sales management and teams
  • Identify and collaborate with channel partners to implement a successful channel strategy
  • Drive key market activities to increase sales, pipeline, market share, and profitability

As leaders in smart factory solutions, your task is to bring these innovative concepts to the field, frame and adapt them to the circumstances, and make them a reality that generates value for the customer. This is the transformational process we expect. This is a role that involves a large presence out in the field with our customers to understand their challenges and present solutions.
Location: The role can be based anywhere that allows you to work actively in the field, maximizing customer-facing time. Quick and easy access to our customer base and customer centers across the region is crucial. We believe you are based in an area where the mining industry is present.
Travelling: Approximately 30 percent of the year’s working days
Reporting Line: This role reports directly to the Global Business Development Manager for Smart Field and is part of the Global Marketing team for the General Industry Division.
