Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a global division/business area Procurement Manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending, and savings forecasts. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation division in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for: • Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing process for planning and implementing (for the relevant group of categories) effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy and ensuring that the supply base/suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. • Minimizing risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and group/ business area guidelines. • Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing price lists, and terms and conditions. • Ensuring identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability) in accordance with company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferrably in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the electrical sector and contract management
  • Knowledge of the E-house and transformer markets in NAM & LATAM
  • Expertise in supply chain management and negotiation strategies
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with a preference for Portuguese communications skills
