WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • You analyze global procurement markets and identify procurement networks, suppliers, capacities, and technologies through market intelligence to optimize Knauf’s supply chains, focusing on the product groups of galvanized profiles, screws, and stamped parts
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, you develop and execute the global category strategy, focusing on supply security, margin and market growth, cost and CO2 reduction, as well as make-or-buy analyses
  • You manage supplier selection and negotiations, set commercial frameworks, and foster stakeholder management to maximize the value contribution of global procurement as a competitive advantage
  • Furthermore, you drive the development of the supplier portfolio, create cost transparency, and establish methods, tools, and processes for benchmarking and best-practice sharing
  • Finally, you support cross-functional projects, generate cost-saving initiatives, and collaborate with the legal department to finalize contractual agreements
