Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Carrier is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Corporate IT staff to create, implement, and support key elements of our Service Excellence strategy. This position will be responsible for our change management program leveraging our Service Now instance and implementing ITSM Processes. This role assumes a high degree of knowledge in the ServiceNow platform and extensive knowledge of Change Management processes and procedures. The Change Manager ensures that all changes are managed in a controlled manner, including standard changes and emergency maintenance relating to business processes, applications, and infrastructure. This includes change standards and procedures, impact assessment, prioritization and authorization, emergency changes, tracking, reporting, closure, and documentation. Subject matter expertise and ability to communicate effectively are key qualities. This role is also responsible for participating in the introduction of new and innovative technologies to help the Carrier businesses increase employee productivity and engagement and increase integration with backend business processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Global Change Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Facilitating with people across multiple teams, engage and interact with leadership at various levels and should be skilled in dealing with conflict, helping influence and drive people towards a goal or action.
  • Host and Manage Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
  • Ensure changes are logged, prioritized, categorized, assessed, authorized, planned, and scheduled, and are introduced in a controlled and coordinated manner.
  • Work with multiple customers, stakeholders, and system owners to coordinate, communicate and provide risk assessments on all IT changes.
  • Provide training and technical support on the change management process for users with varying levels of IT knowledge.
  • Analyze change records to determine any trends and provide analysis of change data and communication of that to technical groups and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in audit reviews of change management throughout the organization.
  • Work with both business and technical representatives to develop and enhance change management processes.
