Description

We’re looking for an exceptional Global Clinical Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team. The successful candidate for this position could be based within Europe, or the USA, with national, or international travel as required. The Global Clinical Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in identifying surgical unmet needs and developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for our target specialties, enabling CMR commercial teams to drive surgeon and patient awareness and advocacy for the benefits of Versius robotic assisted procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of clinical environments, MedTech market trends, and the ability to translate complex clinical insights into innovative hardware and software solutions, creating compelling marketing campaigns that drive product adoption and business growth. The ideal candidate will combine their deep knowledge of medical technology with marketing expertise to bring innovative, high-quality solutions to the market.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Market Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for specific clinical specialties, including product positioning, value proposition, segmentation, targeting, and messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and clinical teams, to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Identify procedural focus areas based on procedural landscapes and clinical data for data driven decision making to best accelerate the growth and utilization of Versius globally.

Customer-Centric Focus

  • Develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and C-Suite to develop strong advocacy for Versius technologies who share the value with their peers.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market opportunities within assigned clinical specialties.
  • In conjunction with KOL’s and medical education, develop peer to peer programs, events, webinars, case observation, and surgeon education programs.

Product Concept Development:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate market insights into product concepts including specialty roadmaps, value propositions, and positioning strategies.
  • Monitor product and specialty performance and make data-driven decisions to enhance Versius adoption and value creation thru marketing initiatives and product launches.

Sales Enablement

  • In collaboration with the commercial teams, develop sales education materials and initiatives to ensure commercial team are experts in delivering specialty specific value messaging and can clearly articulate the value of Versius by specialty

We’re a rapidly developing company and roles can change and evolve. You’ll be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Marketing remit that supports the team with delivering its objectives.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have/be:

  • Degree or equivalent in relevant field. MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 year of experience in medical device/medical products ideally within marketing or sales; with 3+ years of marketing experience in medical device marketing.
  • Experience defining value propositions, stage-gated product development processes, and product launches across multiple countries.
  • Clinical experience in the operating room with minimal access surgery or working in robotic-assisted surgery.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for shaping the market changing the standard of minimally invasive surgery and driving business growth.
  • Ability to think creatively and pragmatically and convert product/customer feedback into valuable insights that can help drive the development of new marketing programs.
  • Excellent advocacy and persuasive skills to collaborate with local market and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments, and build and maintain extensive KOL networks.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary.
  • Ability to succeed in a rapidly changing, agile environment where continuous innovation is requisite to success.
