Job Description As a Global Commodity Buyer, you will play a key role in shaping Bosch's global purchasing strategy and ensuring a competitive, resilient, and sustainable supply base. Your contribution to something big: Drive commodity and part family strategies by analyzing market and supplier data, identifying opportunities for standardization, consolidation, and cost optimization. Develop and implement sourcing strategies that support Bosch's global business objectives and long-term supply chain competitiveness. Manage supplier capacities for new and existing projects, ensuring readiness to meet business demands and future growth requirements. Lead supplier discussions and negotiations related to capacity planning, commercial conditions, and supply chain performance. Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across international locations. Act as a trusted partner for cross-functional teams, proactively identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and driving sustainable solutions. Oversee contract management activities and contribute to supplier risk assessment and mitigation initiatives. Monitor market developments and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Qualifications What distinguishes you: Education Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Experience Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Commodity Management, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable business function. Experience working with suppliers in an international environment is highly valued. Know-how Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions. Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and supply chain processes. Understanding of capacity planning and supplier risk management principles. Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Languages Fluent in English. German language skills are a plus. Working Style and Methods Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and international environment.
