Description
Your responsibilities: Procurement of globally required capital goods in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, in full compliance with defined internal procedures with a focus on assembly machines and systems. Development and implementation of a global, cross-business unit commodity strategy. Development, negotiation, and formalization of contractual framework agreements for capital goods and services across various locations, considering site-specific legal and operational requirements. Consolidation and coordination of global purchasing volumes. Cross-BU management and coordination of global commodity topics, supported by regional and local procurement teams. Acting as escalation level for delivery delays and negotiating resolution of contractual disruptions. Coordination of supplier onboarding, maintenance, evaluation, and auditing, with a strong focus on long-term partnerships. Continuous procurement market analysis and monitoring to ensure a competitive supplier landscape. Execution of RFQs and independent management of contract, price, and delivery negotiations. Preparation and presentation of bid comparisons. Commercial involvement in make-or-buy decisions. Initiation of and participation in value engineering projects. Participation in cross-functional project teams with overarching commercial responsibility. Your profile: Master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field, MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within CAPEX procurement. Fluent German and English (written and spoken, negotiation-level). Entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen. Advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAP. Strong capability in leveraging modern information and communication technologies. Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development in the field. Strong systems thinking and the ability to understand complex interdependencies. High level of social competence, flexibility, discretion, and willingness to travel. Primarily an execution-focused role. Strong interpersonal and integrative skills.
