WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?

We are seeking a Compensation Manager to join our Global People and Operations team. Global People is responsible for performance management, operations, engagement, talent advisory, leadership assessment, workforce planning, and other strategic projects for approximately 5,500+ Global professionals.
Reporting to the Total Rewards leader, this position will contribute to the design, development and execution of a comprehensive compensation strategy for the organization that advances Deloitte Global People strategies and goals, while enhancing the organization’s ability to attract high performing employees and maximize employee productivity, engagement and retention, with a focus on professionals based in Europe.

Work you’ll do:

  • Lead the annual compensation review process for European countries where Deloitte Global has a presence. Ensure tools are prepared to support the annual compensation review.
  • Liaise and build relationships with local Compensation contacts in European countries.
  • Ensure compensation is competitive through market analyses, creative use of rewards programs, and a focus on delivering an employer of choice strategy through strategic and operational HR excellence.
  • Review and analyze MF data and develop recommendations for updates to job architecture, salary structures and bonus targets as appropriate.
  • Partner with the Advisory team to provide guidance on pay decisions, policy and guidelines interpretation, and job descriptions specific to compensation-related programs.
  • Prepare materials on compensation training and education.
  • Keep apprised of local benefit & compensation laws and regulations.
  • Lead assigned compensation projects including the design, communication and implementation of new plans and programs.
  • Liaise with country-specific payroll teams to action compensation changes.

Required:

  • Experience leading compensation reviews
  • Expertise designing pay structures
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and influence as appropriate is essential
  • The successful candidate should be results-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Self-confident, self-motivated and highly organized with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Strong communication skills, including excellent written, verbal and presentation capabilities.
  • Strong analytic skills; ability to analyze, synthesize and draw conclusions from data is key
  • Experience working in a dynamic / matrixed organization

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Advanced business degree or Reward certification desired

Preferred:

  • Experience at the manager level preferred
  • Experience with compensation in European countries
