Your next opportunity?
As the Global Continuous Improvement Manager you will drive the implementation of the Optinova’s Lean System across our four factories to deliver customer value, top quality, and operational efficiencies. You will work closely with the plant management teams and the sites lean champions to implement and develop the Optinova Lean System to deliver the group short-term and long-terms goals. Your role will be essential to Optinova and our continuous ways of working.
The workplace is located at the Nordic sales office in Uppsala, Sweden, or the headquarter office in Mariehamn, Åland.
Your key responsibility areas will be:
Implement and develop the Optinova Lean System
Ensure a harmonized visual management system across all plants
Run Kaizen events to address largest waste “buckets” together with local lean champions
Train and develop local Lean champions in systematic problem solving (ex.8D)
Follow-up progress and secure execution in the local improvement projects to achieve the planned results
Ensure global knowledge sharing and harmonization in ways of working for Total Productive Maintenance, Systematic Problem Solving
Support the factory leadership in improvement project idea generation, project chartering, action planning and implementation
Challenge the Global Operational Team to take the next steps towards excellence in the tubing extrusion business and benchmark with the best in the world for Lean Production.
You
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have at least 10 years of work experience in operational excellence and driving organizational development. You have experience in leading people, coaching leaders in Lean and in change management. You have an understanding of Capex intensive manufacturing environments and the importance of Overall Equipment Efficiency as well as Flow Efficiency. We believe that you have a BSc or MSc in Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
You have strong communication skills and experience in working with different stakeholders. You have good social skills to build trust, collaboration, contacts and network with production support team within Optinova. This position requires good communication skills in English and Swedish.
