OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The Global Credit Lead is responsible for evaluating the financial health of customers to ensure collectability. This critical role at Salesforce helps minimize the risk of bad debt while supporting healthy working capital and free cash flow. A Senior Credit Analyst must make sound credit decisions to mitigate financial exposure, establish appropriate payment and billing terms, and understand how contract language impacts collections. The position requires close collaboration with sales leaders, internal finance teams, collections, and legal stakeholders to facilitate timely deal conversions.
This role demands the ability to stay calm under pressure, assess situations objectively, and make sound decisions, especially in high-stakes environments. A working knowledge of SOX controls and the importance of safeguarding financial data is essential. The position also involves managing global accounts, with a primary focus on the APAC and EMEA regions. Extended hours are expected
during the final days of each month, particularly at quarter-end, with occasional weekend work depending on the calendar.
