Company Description We are seeking a detail-oriented, focused Data Governance Analyst to ensure the quality and trustworthiness of our data attribution through robust taxonomy management; making fast but thoughtful decisions while considering regulations and trends in the FMCG and grocery industries. This role is vital in enabling scalable, efficient, insight-ready data across our products and services. The Label Insight Data Governance Team, situated in our Product Team, is dedicated to ensuring the quality, integrity, and usability of data across the organization. Comprising three specialized teams—Attribute Health, Source Quality, and Data Support—it works collaboratively to uphold robust data standards, validate AI-generated outputs, and provide responsive, client-focused support. Together, the team enables scalable, trustworthy, and insight-ready data that powers our products and services. Job Description Manage the processing of globally sourced, English language data that powers attribution for various solutions. This includes on-package marketing text, ingredients, and nutrient data. Perform taxonomy recognition tasks to ensure our attributes achieve the required quality thresholds Identify and support process, system and automation developments to increase quality and efficiency Be able to interpret, analyze, and clearly communicate our data and taxonomy structure as needed Audit, improve and develop internal database taxonomies Expand our database to align with growing market trends and global expansion projects Work with customer success teams to investigate and resolve customer inquiries relating to our attribute taxonomy Qualifications University degree, bachelor's degree or equivalent Native speaker or fluency in the English language - both verbal and written Detail-oriented with the desire and ability to pick up new skills quickly Comfortable with repetitive tasks Self-motivated and able to manage deadlines and time on projects independently Eager to learn new technology platforms (Coding, BI tools, GitHub, etc.) Experience in data quality management, data review, or data cleaning is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) Familiarity with BI and data querying tools and languages (including Looker, Power BI, Solr, SQL, and ElasticSearch) advantageous Training will be provided for: All Label Insight proprietary tools and platforms for the creation, management, and review of data Internal NIQ tools and databases Additional Information Hybrid : 2 per week / Office Sofia, Bulgaria #li-hybrid Our Benefits Flexible working environment Volunteer time off LinkedIn Learning Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) About NIQ NIQ is the world’s leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth.
