About the Role We are seeking a Global DBS Director with a strong foundation in manufacturing operations and a proven track record of driving LEAN transformation. This role is ideal for an experienced operations or production leader who has progressed into senior continuous improvement leadership and is now ready to influence improvements across a global footprint. As Global DBS Director, you will drive the implementation, maturity, and sustainability of DBS across Radiometer’s Global Operations and Supply Chain. You will strengthen operational performance by applying LEAN principles, building capability, and fostering a culture of disciplined problem-solving. This position reports to the Vice President of Global Operations, with a dotted line to the Vice President of DBS, and is part of the Operations senior leadership team. The role is onsite in Brønshøj, Copenhagen, with regular travel to our production sites. In this role, you will: Serve as a LEAN expert and drive operational excellence across global sites by applying DBS fundamentals and core LEAN tools to improve stability, flow, and performance. Lead Operations Policy Deployment (L2), ensuring clear priorities, KPI alignment, and structured performance management across multiple manufacturing sites. Develop and elevate DBS capability across Operations leaders and teams, strengthening the global culture of continuous improvement. Facilitate and coach Kaizen events, DBS training, and leadership development, ensuring LEAN becomes a sustainable “way of life.” Act as a hands-on change leader, coaching senior operations leadership, demonstrating strong presence at the Gemba, and supporting disciplined execution. Lead and grow the global Operations DBS Leader (DBSL) community, driving collaboration and best-practice sharing across all sites. Partner closely with the VP DBS and functional DBS leaders to improve cross-functional processes and enhance enterprise-wide DBS maturity. The essential requirements include: Academic degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or equivalent. 10+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong record of implementing LEAN/DBS/TPS improvements directly on the shop floor. 5+ years in a senior leadership role in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain. Proven ability to lead change, coach teams, and deliver measurable operational impact. Travel Requirements Ability to travel 15–20% It is an advantage if you also bring: Strong knowledge of LEAN tools within Operations, Supply Chain, and Materials (e.g., DMS/Kanban or equivalent systems). Experience leading teams or projects in an international matrix organization. Previous experience within medical devices, pharma, or another regulated production environment.
