Mission In your position as Deal Manager you will be responsible for working with our sales teams, Subject-matter experts and the VP of Deal Management in the qualification of global and strategic international opportunities, the preparation of those opportunities when anticipated, the design of global solutions, the improvement of the strategy and narrative (win theme) together with the Sales Lead and other stakeholders, the Lead and coordination of the Pursuit team, the processing of answers to tenders, the creation and writing of proposals and sales presentations and the support to the closing of the Deals (legal and commercial aspects). Responsibilities (non-exhaustive) You will be involved in the complete deal lifecycle, from the lead qualification right after its identification to the signature of the contract, right before the implementation. You will ensure Global Opportunities’ Owners respect the Deal Process You will work together with other Global Functions (Finance, Operations, Legal, …) and the VP of Deal Management to review and assess the proper qualification of the Global Opportunities and participate in the “go-no go” decision process. Together with the Global Opportunities’ owners, you will determine and build the pursuit team and assign responsibilities and roles to each member of this virtual team (you included) For the opportunities anticipated by a couple of months, you will be responsible together with the Global opportunities owners to prepare and shape the future deals to the benefit of the Group. If necessary, you will participate in discussions with clients’ stakeholders (HR, Procurement, Operations, …) and deliver advisory services to clients. Between the official arrival of the clients’ documents and the submission of the proposals: You will be responsible for coordinating the bidding processes (coordination of all parties involved, preparation of results, monitoring of time planning, and project management) You organize kick-off calls/meetings. You will be responsible for ensuring that all stakeholders respect the roadmap and milestones you have defined. You will be responsible for compiling, proofreading, and improving the quality of content received from internal stakeholders. You will answer questionnaires and build proposals/presentations with the support of the Global Opportunities Owners, Subject matter experts, Content writer, and Graphic Designer. You will be responsible for ensuring proposals are built in line with client requirements and respecting official requirements stated by the clients in the documents and instructions they shared with us. Together, with the Finance Team, you ensure that the Finance-related process is respected. You will be responsible for compiling Pricing elements from different stakeholders and supporting the global opportunity owner to ensure pricing received is good at the market level and respecting finance guidance. You will support the design of commercials and tactics (pricing strategy rebate & other incentives, pricing conditions, …) You support the design of the right solution together with other global functions (Digital, Sales, Operations, Delivery, CSR, Legal, Finance, Pricing, …), Global Opportunities owners, and subject-matter experts. You will lead the creation of client-centric proposals and presentations in line with strategic decisions taken during prior steps. You will be responsible for the timely submission of the proposals. After the submission of the proposals: You will regularly communicate with the global opportunities owners to ensure they, and the pursuit teams, will be always ready for the rounds of negotiation. You will communicate regularly with all stakeholders that have been involved about the progress of the project. You will be responsible together with the Opportunities Owners to maintain the VP of Deal Management and other senior leaders of the company fully aware of the progress of the negotiations and to determine when leadership must be involved or when an escalation must happen, if needed. You will be involved in managing and coordinating all rounds of negotiation. Global Opportunities Owners will remain accountable for the negotiations and their outcomes. You might have to participate in clients’ calls and negotiations together with the global opportunities’ owners. You will have to not only support the commercial negotiations but the legal negotiation as well with the support of the Legal Team You will be engaged together with the global opportunities’ owners until the signature of the contracts. Global Opportunities owners are accountable and responsible for the closing. For Accounts and opportunities not being supported by a Global Sales Owner you might have together with the national account managers from the countries in scope to lead the negotiation and eventually become the client point of contact during the duration of the RFP exercise [Senior profiles only] On an ongoing basis: You will be responsible for updating the Deal Team’s internal reporting platform. Global CRM updates will be the responsibility of the Opportunities Owners. You support the VP of Deal Management in various bid-related projects. You produce written concise bid best practices and participate in the update of processes. You build repeatable content for general questions about the company and boilerplate presentations for the most common solutions offered by the company. You are involved in projects leading to the improvement and professionalization of the Deal and Bid management practice within the company. You participate in the development of a Functional Community. You participate in initiatives related to the ongoing transformation of the team. Work Experience 2 to 15 years of experience in a similar role (bid management) or in sales roles Experience in a service industry environment and in an international organization Alternatives: Project Management experience; Experience with Pricing Education: Commercial diploma or Bachelor's degree in Communication, Project Management or related subjects Travel Requirement: Regular (5 to 25%25) Language: English (fluent level mandatory); Other languages appreciated(French, Spanish, German, Italian, …).
